What she should have done was get another tiger and make them chase each other around a tree until they turned to butter.
I never could figure out exactly how that worked, but I always wanted some tiger butter on my pancakes--still do.

She didn't know about that because they took the book out of the library.
I never thought about wanting tiger butter specifically, but that story always did make me really want pancakes with a lot of butter and syrup.

someone noted on FB that St Valentine's Day is meant to honour marital and familial love. I wish we could get back to that.
